I am utterly saddened by the behaviour of my offspring.
The lack of love and respect is just heartbreaking.
I have no idea how it has come to this.
I am barely even acknowledged as they move around the house.
The youngest got up and went straight for the present given to him by his boss without even speaking to me. I waited patiently by the door while he opened it. He looked up at me as if to say what are you looking at? I had his present in my hand. I gave it to him and he muttered thanks. I found the wrapping paper just discarded onto the table like so much rubbish and I have no idea where the gift is.
The oldest made an appearance some hours later. I gave him his present and it has just been opened and left where it was.
I am in tears. My heart is broken just a bit more by the casual attitude of these children.
No present for mum.
Not even a card.
